Jolyon Palmer blasts Kimi Antonelli for ‘thinking small picture’ after crash at Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Formula 1 pundit Jolyon Palmer criticized Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli following his crash during qualifying at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku. Antonelli suffered a crash in Q1 that caused a suspension failure, which ultimately ruled him out of participating further in Q2. As a result, the championship leader is set to start Sunday's race from P16 on the grid.

Meanwhile, Antonelli's Mercedes teammate George Russell secured pole position ahead of Ferrari's Charles Leclerc. Palmer stated on F1TV that Antonelli was thinking small picture and took unnecessary risks attempting to match Russell's benchmark pace following practice issues earlier in the weekend.
