Oklahoma City Thunder general manager Sam Presti provided status updates on injured players ahead of the upcoming NBA preseason during a media session in Oklahoma City. Star swingman Jalen Williams, who missed significant time last season playing in only 33 regular-season games and five postseason games, has worked hard this offseason and reportedly looks fantastic in training.
Meanwhile, Presti noted that injured players Nikola Topic and Thomas Sorber face a more complex, slower return-to-play process due to extended layoffs from live play. The Thunder plan to avoid rushing Topic and Sorber back into action as the team prepares for the new season.
