Jets’ Training Camp Battles

The Winnipeg Jets conclude their 2026-27 preseason schedule on Friday night against the Colorado Avalanche at Ball Arena in Denver. The game serves as the final exhibition contest for Winnipeg before opening the regular season against the Boston Bruins on October 2 at Canada Life Centre. The Jets must reduce their roster to the mandatory 23-player maximum by Monday, September 28.

Several young prospects are competing for spots, with Isak Rosen, Brad Lambert, and Elias Salomonsson expected to secure permanent roles. Draft pick Viggo Bjorck and Brayden Yager are also contending for roster places, while goaltenders Thomas Milic and Dominic DiVincentiis are vying to back up Stuart Skinner.
