Birmingham City have clear poster-boy for perfect Knighthead transfer

Birmingham City midfielder Jhon Solis has emerged as a model signing for owners Knighthead following his transition from an initial loan to a £6 million permanent deal from Girona. The 21-year-old Colombian joined the club in January and quickly established himself under manager Chris Davies, subsequently earning his first senior international call-up.

Knighthead have invested around £7 million into data-driven recruitment, signing over 50 players since 2023. Club figures believe Birmingham City could already sell Solis for a substantial profit, with expectations that his valuation could reach between £15 million and £20 million in the future.
