Captain Mikey Moore scores on his England U20 debut against Italy

Mikey Moore captained and scored on his England U20 debut as Darren Moore's side secured a 3-1 victory against Italy in La Nucia, Spain. The fixture opened the eighth edition of the U20 Elite League. Jesse Derry opened the scoring in the first half before Moore doubled England's lead, and Shea Lacey sealed the win late on.

Moore, who is on loan at FC Köln from Tottenham Hotspur, has now scored 26 goals in 46 appearances across England's youth national teams. An own goal by Airidas Golambeckis provided Italy's only score, while England will complete the international break against Hannes Wolf's Germany on October 3.
