Onsi Saleh provides Henri Veesaar insight all Hawks fans expected

Atlanta Hawks rookie center Henri Veesaar will miss his entire rookie season due to injury. During preseason media availability, Hawks President of Basketball Operations Onsi Saleh addressed the rookie's injury and outlined what his development path would have entailed had he stayed healthy for the 2026-27 campaign.

Although Veesaar secured one of the 15 standard roster spots on the Hawks, Saleh confirmed that the team planned for him to spend most of his first year with their G League affiliate, the College Park Skyhawks, due to a crowded frontcourt.
