Virgil van Dijk broke Jurgen Klopp rule straight away as ex-Liverpool boss lays down law again

Virgil van Dijk previously revealed that he accidentally broke a team rule established by former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp prior to his club debut in January 2018. Klopp had forbidden players from touching the 'This is Anfield' sign until winning a trophy, but the unaware defender touched it before scoring the winning goal in a 2-1 FA Cup victory against Everton.

The reminder comes as Klopp has reportedly instituted four strict new rules in his role as manager of the German national team. The new regulations for Germany players include mandatory group arrivals for team dinners, a matchday ban on mobile phones, prohibitions on hotel haircuts, and restrictions on family visits during major tournaments.
