Flyers, Fans Troll NHL After Silly Trevor Zegras Penalty

During a preseason game against the Boston Bruins, Philadelphia Flyers forward Trevor Zegras received a minor penalty for improper wearing of equipment because his jersey was tucked into his pants. Head coach Rick Tocchet noted after the game that teams had been warned about stricter enforcement of the jersey tuck rule ahead of the season.

Ahead of Saturday's preseason finale against the Washington Capitals, several Flyers players responded by tucking their jerseys into their pants during pregame warmups. Participants included Sean Couturier, Porter Martone, Tyson Foerster, Cam York, and Jamie Drysdale, while fans in attendance also brought signs supporting Zegras.
