West Ham United Women captain Katie Zelem is set to return to face her former club Manchester United on Sunday for the first time since departing. The 30-year-old midfielder previously made over 150 appearances during a six-year spell with United, which included captaining them to Women's FA Cup success in May 2024.
Following stints with Angel City and London City Lionesses, Zelem initially joined West Ham on loan in January before completing a permanent transfer over the summer. Manager Rita Guarino named Zelem club captain ahead of the 2026/27 WSL season.
