Opinion: Liverpool have their new Trent Alexander-Arnold who just signed major deal

Liverpool academy right-back Lewis John-Charles has signed an agreement to be represented by the Gersh agency. The agency also represents former Liverpool player Trent Alexander-Arnold and employs his brother, Tyler. John-Charles currently plays for Liverpool's U16 and U17 sides and has recently participated in training sessions with the club's U21 squad and first-team players.

The development follows Liverpool's squad adjustments at right-back after Alexander-Arnold's departure and subsequent injuries to Conor Bradley. Manager Andoni Iraola has recently deployed Ronald Araujo in the position, securing three consecutive clean sheets in Premier League matches, while Jeremie Frimpong and Dominik Szoboszlai have also featured as alternative options.
