Knicks star Jalen Brunson gets a little help on SNL monologue from NY’s starting five

New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson hosted the season premiere of Saturday Night Live, featuring surprise appearances from his teammates during the opening monologue. Karl-Anthony Towns, Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby, and Josh Hart appeared in the audience to ask Brunson comedic questions during his segment.

Brunson became the fifth basketball player to host the program and the first since LeBron James in 2007. The hosting appearance followed a season where Brunson led the Knicks to an NBA championship over the Spurs, winning Finals MVP honors ahead of New York's upcoming season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers on October 20.
