Olly Cracknell: ‘I’ve got a bit of a chip on my shoulder’

Leicester Tigers back-row forward Olly Cracknell admitted that being left out of Wales' summer tour to Argentina and South Africa has motivated him for the current season. The 32-year-old was excluded from head coach Steve Tandy's squad after a dip in form toward the end of last season, despite having featured earlier in the Six Nations.

Ahead of Leicester's home fixture against Saracens, Cracknell stated that the snub gave him a chip on his shoulder to regain his best form. During his time away from international duty, the five-times capped forward pursued his interest in classic automobiles by purchasing a 1980s Mercedes W123.
