Sharks Locker Room: 4 Questions at End of Pre-Season (+)

The San Jose Sharks concluded their pre-season schedule with a 4-2 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights. Head coach Ryan Warsofsky praised goaltender Yaroslav Askarov, who stopped 27 of 29 shots on the night and concluded pre-season play with a .942 save percentage. The Sharks must submit their final opening night rosters ahead of their season opener on October 1.

Warsofsky also examined early specialty team setups, including using forward Collin Graf to take opening faceoffs on the penalty kill against Vegas center Tomas Hertl. Graf won two of six faceoffs while logging time alongside Barclay Goodrow, Darnell Nurse, and Michael Kesselring as part of San Jose's primary penalty-killing unit.
