Chicago Cubs president of baseball operations Jed Hoyer faces an impending list of free agent departures following the 2026 season. Veteran pitcher Kevin Gausman, acquired at the trade deadline, is projected to leave as a free agent after recording a 5.04 ERA across eight starts with the club.
