Liverpool have found their perfect Andoni Iraola midfield signing – but they could pay price

While the Reds did not add a midfielder during the summer window, reporter David Ornstein revealed that reports of Liverpool's interest in Monaco's 22-year-old midfielder Lamine Camara were credible.

According to Ornstein, any potential move for Camara depended on Alexis Mac Allister departing the club. Camara previously saw a deadline-day transfer to Chelsea collapse, while Liverpool opted against signing an immediate midfield replacement despite Jones's exit.
