Steelers’ RBs, Offensive Linemen Met To Try To Fix Run Game Issues

The Pittsburgh Steelers offensive linemen and running backs held a film meeting on Monday to address issues hindering their ground game ahead of their matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals. According to ESPN's Dan Graziano, the players reviewed discrepancies in run-play aiming points between the blockers and runners. Pittsburgh's ground attack has gained just 149 yards on 44 carries across its first two games.

Team personnel believe improving the rushing attack is essential to better protecting quarterback Aaron Rodgers. In addition to blocking struggles, Pittsburgh faces backfield adjustments as running back Rico Dowdle was ruled out, leading the team to sign Travis Homer and elevate Lew Nichols to support Jaylen Warren.
