André the Giant: Lack of discipline cost us

Springboks captain André Esterhuizen stated that poor discipline and mistakes caused South Africa's 42-38 defeat against the Wallabies in Perth on Sunday. Australia held a 42-17 lead after 63 minutes before receiving four late yellow cards. South Africa responded with three late tries to narrow the margin to four points, but Australia held on to secure the victory.

Esterhuizen dismissed claims that the defeat was caused by 13 squad changes made by coach Rassie Erasmus following their previous win over the All Blacks in Baltimore. The captain highlighted that while the squad trained together for 18 to 19 weeks and mounted a late comeback, early errors and lapses in discipline put them in an insurmountable position.
