Tottenham have Czech playmaker firmly in sight in long-term pursuit

Tottenham Hotspur are continuing to monitor Lyon playmaker Pavel Sulc, whom they have pursued for more than a year. Tottenham reportedly keep the Czech international under intense surveillance, though they face domestic competition from Aston Villa, Everton, and Leeds United, with Leeds having made official contact with Lyon. Lyon are reportedly open to a permanent sale in January or the summer if their valuation is met.

Lyon have reportedly set an asking price starting at €50 million (£43 million) for the attacking midfielder, who registered 21 goal contributions last season. European clubs including Juventus, Lazio, Como, and Atletico Madrid are also credited with an interest in Sulc as Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi navigates a difficult start to the Premier League season.
