FOUR DOWNS: Gibbs scores 3 TDs in Lions’ win over Jets

Running back Jahmyr Gibbs scored three total touchdowns to lead the Detroit Lions to a 31-24 victory over the New York Jets on Sunday. Gibbs rushed for 99 yards and two touchdowns while adding seven receptions for 65 yards and another score. His performance helped the Lions bounce back after a Week 2 loss, as Detroit totaled 400 yards of offense under head coach Dan Campbell.

Gibbs moved into second place in Lions franchise history with his 43rd career rushing touchdown, passing Billy Sims. Defensively, safety Chuck Clark secured the win by sacking Jets quarterback Geno Smith and forcing a fumble that was recovered by linebacker Jack Campbell. Detroit's defense held the Jets to just 58 rushing yards, while kicker Jake Bates contributed four extra points and a field goal.
