Cardinals finally unleash Jeremiyah Love, but it’s still not enough vs. 49ers

The Arizona Cardinals fell to 1-2 on the season following a 36-30 road loss against the San Francisco 49ers. Despite the defeat, rookie running back Jeremiyah Love saw an expanded workload after being limited by a preseason high-ankle sprain over the opening two weeks. Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett and head coach Mike LaFleur relied heavily on the rookie in the backfield.

Love carried the ball 21 times for 90 rushing yards and added five receptions for 19 yards and a touchdown. The outing followed a quiet start to the season where Love totaled only 20 carries across the first two games while sharing touches with Tyler Allgeier.
