The Arizona Cardinals fell to 1-2 on the season following a 36-30 defeat against the San Francisco 49ers on September 27. Despite a strong second-half surge, quarterback Jacoby Brissett addressed the early lapses that allowed San Francisco to build a two-score lead, noting that teams cannot afford to give away an entire half to a quality opponent.
Brissett finished the game with nearly 300 passing yards and two touchdowns after settling in following early operational errors. The Cardinals are set to continue their road stretch in Week 4 with a matchup against the New York Giants.
