The bold sakura design captured international attention during Japan's recent match against T20 world champions India and at the Asian Games in Nagoya, sparking high demand from supporters ordering the tops directly by email.

The uniform combines cherry blossom pink with a blue associated with the Sano International Cricket Ground's local region.
