Bo Nix, Broncos Make NFL History With Win Over Rams on ‘Sunday Night Football’

The Denver Broncos made NFL history on Sunday Night Football by overcoming a first-half shutout of at least 13 points and scoring over 30 second-half points to defeat the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3. Quarterback Bo Nix led the comeback, finishing with 186 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, and one rushing touchdown.

Denver became the only team in league history to complete such a second-half turnaround in back-to-back seasons, following a similar comeback against the New York Giants in 2025. Defensively, safety Talanoa Hufanga helped secure the victory with five tackles and two interceptions off Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, returning one for a touchdown.
