‘If I had seen an Irish player doing what Ma’a Nonu did, I’d have ripped his head off’

In his autobiography 'All In', Ireland back-row Peter O'Mahony recalled an incident following Ireland's 60-0 defeat to New Zealand in Hamilton in 2012. Believing his international career might be over, O'Mahony sought to swap jerseys with All Blacks captain Richie McCaw. However, center Ma'a Nonu blocked him from entering the New Zealand dressing room.

After waiting outside, O'Mahony made a second attempt to enter, but Nonu turned him away. Fellow All Black Kieran Read witnessed the confrontation and later apologized to O'Mahony for the incident.
