Outrage in Italy as Baresi mural outside Casa Milan is vandalised

A mural honoring legendary AC Milan captain Franco Baresi outside Casa Milan was vandalized on Sunday. Perpetrators sprayed red paint across Baresi's face, the shirt sponsor, the artist's signature, and the phrase 'You'll never walk alone.' The tribute had been created after the former defender passed away in July 2026 at age 66.

Milan city councillor Alessandro Giungi shared images of the damaged artwork on social media, expressing outrage over the act. AC Milan has reportedly taken action, with authorities attempting to identify those responsible through local CCTV footage.
