Vicario on His Way to Earning Permanent Juventus Move

Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is considered highly likely to be signed permanently by Juventus at the conclusion of the season, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport via Mediaset. Juventus holds an option to redeem the Italian shot-stopper from Tottenham for a fee of €8 million. If the buyout is activated, Vicario will sign a three-year contract that is already agreed in principle.

Vicario was acquired after Juventus considered several other candidates, including Alisson, Emiliano Martinez, and Zion Suzuki, to succeed Michele Di Gregorio. While Juventus also anticipates the arrival of Norberto Neto and retains interest in Frosinone goalkeeper Lorenzo Palmisani, Vicario's solid form against sides like Milan and Atalanta puts him in line for a continued stay in Turin.
