South Africa captain Temba Bavuma praised his squad's collective performance after a 32-run victory over Australia in the second ODI at Wanderers Stadium on September 27. South Africa posted 365 for 9 and bowled out Australia for 333 to take an unassailable series lead, securing their sixth consecutive bilateral series victory against the visitors. Bavuma scored 103 runs from 116 deliveries, while David Miller hit a career-best 142 from 92 balls.
Bavuma and Miller combined for a crucial 156-run fourth-wicket partnership during the annual Pink Day fixture. Spinners Aiden Markram, Keshav Maharaj, and Bjorn Fortuin helped South Africa maintain control with the ball, while Australia's Jack Edwards claimed his maiden List A five-wicket haul in the loss.
