RB Leipzig attacker Tidiam Gomis expressed satisfaction with his expanded role under head coach Martin Demichelis. The 20-year-old noted that he did not receive the minutes he felt he deserved under former coach Ole Werner last season. Gomis has logged 323 minutes across six matches early this season, praising Demichelis's strong communication and training methods.

Gomis attributed his improved performances to building muscle and refining his finishing during the summer break. He recently left France's under-21 camp due to a knock, but the club hopes he recovers in time for their fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt on October 10.
