In-form Swansea City man continues impressive performances with goalscoring return to international starting XI

Swansea City striker Adam Idah scored for the Republic of Ireland during their 3-0 victory against Israel on Sunday night. Making his first international start since June 2025, the 25-year-old forward netted Ireland's second goal in a first half where Troy Parrott and Jack Moylan also found the net for manager Heimir Hallgrimsson's side.

Idah's international performance reflects his strong form at Swansea City under manager Vitor Matos, having recorded three goals and an assist in eight Championship appearances. His goal against Israel takes his international tally to seven goals in 42 appearances, creating competition for Swansea's starting striker position with teammate Zan Vipotnik.
