Spurs brought in ten new players in the summer transfer window

Tottenham Hotspur have endured a winless start to the 2026/27 Premier League campaign under manager Roberto De Zerbi, leaving the club at the bottom of the table after five matches. Following consecutive 17th-place finishes, the club spent more than £300 million on ten new arrivals during the summer transfer window while parting ways with 17 players.
The massive squad turnover has resulted in significant on-pitch struggles, including Tottenham failing to score until the 86th minute of their fifth league game. Recent signings have faced difficult starts, with Mykhailo Mudryk sidelined by an injury after 16 minutes, Marcos Senesi struggling in two appearances, and goalkeeper Martin Dubravka restricted to Carabao Cup action.
