Darko Rajakovic highlighted conditioning as a massive area for improvement for the Raptors this offseason, which will only help their transition scoring attack.

Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic announced at media day that his squad met their offseason goal of improving overall conditioning. Following a first-round playoff loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Rajakovic stressed that several players needed to gain strength, build muscle, and enter training camp in peak physical shape.
Rajakovic noted that Ja'Kobe Walter added 10 pounds of muscle during the summer, while Collin Murray-Boyles also improved his fitness ahead of the 2026-27 season. The improved conditioning is expected to bolster Toronto's transition attack after the team finished third in fast-break points per game last season.
