Tottenham Hotspur right-back Pedro Porro has traveled to Spain during the international break to accelerate his recovery from an injury. The 27-year-old was forced off in the 19th minute of Tottenham's 3-2 defeat against Aston Villa on September 19, which led to his withdrawal from Spain's national squad under manager Luis de la Fuente.
Porro is working with specialists at Policlínica Axis and SPZ Iron in Badajoz to rehabilitate and optimize his physical condition. Having previously utilized the clinic during Spain's World Cup-winning campaign alongside Fabián Ruiz, Porro is reportedly expected to return to competitive action in the second half of October.
