Arsenal will not let Viktor Gyokeres join AC Milan on loan but they have opened the door to his exit... 😮

Arsenal are reportedly open to parting ways with striker Viktor Gyokeres, but prefer a permanent transfer over a loan move amid links to AC Milan. The Swedish forward, signed for approximately £64m from Sporting Lisbon in 2025, has slipped down the pecking order under manager Mikel Arteta behind Kai Havertz despite scoring 20 goals in his debut season.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are getting closer to agreeing on a contract extension with club captain Martin Odegaard. Journalist Nicolo Schira reports that the Gunners view Odegaard as a key player and non-transferable, having recently rejected approaches from European and Saudi Arabian clubs to secure his future.
