WBA featherweight world champion Brandon Figueroa stated during a virtual press conference that he is willing to fight Naoya Inoue at 126 pounds. Figueroa is currently scheduled to defend his title against Tomoki Kameda on October 17 at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
Inoue has previously hinted at potentially moving up to the featherweight division. A move up to 126 pounds would require Inoue to vacate his undisputed IBF, WBA, WBC, and WBO junior featherweight titles.
