Bayern Munich executives Uli Hoeneß and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge met with former manager Pep Guardiola for dinner in Munich last week. According to a report by Sport Bild, Guardiola visited the city following a sponsor appointment with Puma in Herzogenaurach. Hoeneß confirmed the meeting took place, noting the close friendship shared among the three men.

Guardiola reportedly requested that current Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany join the dinner, but Kompany was unable to attend because he was out of town. Hoeneß stated that the group intends to reschedule the meal with Kompany at the next opportunity, with the gathering described as a purely social occasion.
