Vancouver Whitecaps extend Thomas Muller contract through 2027 MLS Sprint Season

The Vancouver Whitecaps announced that German midfielder Thomas Müller has signed a contract extension to remain a Designated Player through the 2027 MLS Sprint Season. His previous deal was scheduled to expire at the conclusion of the 2026 campaign. Since joining Vancouver last summer, Müller has registered 19 goals and 12 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.

Müller helped lead the Whitecaps to the 2025 MLS Cup Final and won the 2025 Canadian Championship, which marked the 36th trophy of his career. This season, he has recorded 10 goals and eight assists in 32 matches. Whitecaps sporting director Axel Schuster commended Müller's leadership and commitment as the club continues to lead the Western Conference standings.
