DALLAS — Cooper Flagg told WFAA the summer heat is the only thing he would complain about in Dallas. The station published its extended interview with the Dallas Mavericks forward Tuesday, four days into his second training camp.
Dallas Mavericks forward Cooper Flagg hinted at a long-term future in Dallas, telling WFAA that the summer heat is his only complaint about the city where he could live for the rest of his life. Speaking during his second training camp, the former No. 1 overall pick expressed high praise for the city and its people as he prepares for his sophomore NBA campaign.
Flagg won Rookie of the Year last season after averaging 21.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists for the Mavericks. Entering his second season under new head coach Dusty May, Flagg also stated he has grown to 6-foot-10 without shoes and is excited to play alongside a healthy Kyrie Irving.
