According to a report by Lance Pugmire in BoxingScene, an offer made to Stevenson was withdrawn due to financial concerns over paying two fighters eight-figure purses alongside the headliners. Pacquiao is still targeted for the Netflix broadcast, while Stevenson is expected to be moved to a different event.

Danny Garcia and Amir Khan have reportedly been proposed as potential alternative opponents for Pacquiao, though neither has been finalized. Stevenson, who has not competed since defeating Teofimo Lopez on January 31, currently has no replacement fight confirmed as pressure mounts on promotional company Zuffa to secure his next bout.
