Liverpool coach tipped to become manager after ‘soaking up’ Anfield experience – ‘I would expect that’

Liverpool first-team coach Tommy Elphick has been tipped to step into management in the future by his former Aston Villa teammate Alan Hutton. Hutton praised Elphick's natural leadership qualities and noted that working under head coach Andoni Iraola at Anfield serves as an ideal learning environment before he eventually manages a club on his own.

Elphick moved to Liverpool in June alongside Iraola from Bournemouth, having previously turned down a managerial opportunity at Championship side Bristol City. Bournemouth legend Steve Fletcher revealed that Elphick and the coaching staff have been amazed by the global scale of Liverpool, where Iraola's squad remains unbeaten through their opening five Premier League fixtures.
