Freeman endured a difficult September, missing five games and posting a career-low .483 OPS over 85 plate appearances. He acknowledged that compensating for knee discomfort may have caused bad habits, including cutting off his swing. Utilizing the Dodgers' bye week before Saturday, Freeman aims to take around 400 batting practice swings daily to incorporate his 2024 World Series mechanical cues.
