West Ham handed fresh Alvarez lifeline as agent reveals Nuno ‘really likes him’

West Ham United midfielder Edson Alvarez could have a route back into the squad, according to a report from Claret & Hugh regarding manager Nuno Espirito Santo's stance. An agent involved in Alvarez's prior move to Fenerbahce claimed that Nuno "really likes him" and informed the club he does not mind if the midfielder stays. The account reflects a third-party claim rather than a public statement from the head coach.

Information attributed to ExWHUEmployee indicates that Alvarez has returned to training with Nuno's squad after West Ham rejected summer cash offers below their valuation. While Alvarez offers midfield experience alongside options like Arne Engels and Lewis Orford, the report notes that returning to training does not guarantee immediate selection in Championship matchday squads.
