‘It’s massive’ – Koppen now knows why Amanda Staveley was ‘blown away’ by West Ham

West Ham United head of player recruitment Nils Koppen expressed his admiration for the club's passionate fanbase following their relegation to the Championship. Speaking to Ironcast, Koppen described the support across East London as "massive," echoing the sentiment of prospective investor Amanda Staveley, who was reportedly blown away by the supporters' loyalty and high season ticket renewals.

Koppen noted that the intense support creates pressure to succeed while praising the atmosphere around the club. Additionally, Koppen aims to integrate the academy into the club's revival, highlighting early season contributions from prospects Airidas Golambeckis, Lewis Orford, and Josh Ajala under manager Nuno Espirito Santo.
