Norway are keeping Arsenal updated on Martin Odegaard's ankle issue, sustained in Sunday's 2-1 Nations League defeat to Portugal following a strong late challenge from ex-Manchester City player Bernardo Silva

Norway assistant coach Brede Hangeland has confirmed that ankle scans for Martin Odegaard showed no major damage. The Arsenal captain sustained the knock following a challenge from Bernardo Silva during Norway's 2-1 Nations League defeat to Portugal on Sunday. Despite the injury scare, Odegaard remains in contention to feature against Wales on Thursday.
Although Odegaard missed Tuesday's training session, Hangeland stated that the midfielder reported feeling less pain. Norway manager Stale Solbakken emphasized that the national team is maintaining close communication with Arsenal's medical staff and will avoid taking unnecessary risks with Odegaard's workload.
