Humphrey Ker explains why he believes it is time to leave Wrexham

Humphrey Ker has explained his decision to step down from the Wrexham AFC board and the Wrexham AFC Foundation after a five-year association. Wrexham announced on September 25 that Ker would depart his formal roles, citing the club's ongoing evolution and changing administrative structure as key factors that made it harder for him to contribute as he desired.

Ker originally introduced co-owner Ryan Reynolds to Wrexham prior to the 2021 takeover and served as an executive director throughout the team's rise from the National League to the Championship. Co-owners Reynolds and Rob McElhenney both praised Ker's pivotal five-year devotion, while Ker confirmed he plans to continue supporting the club from a distance.
