Two Celtics players forming close bond as training camp kicks off

Boston Celtics point guards Payton Pritchard and veteran newcomer Mike Conley have formed a close bond during training camp. Despite being at different stages of their careers, the two 6'1" guards have been working closely together on and off the court, with Conley serving as a mentor.

Pritchard, 28, is entering the season after averaging career-highs of 17 points and 5.2 assists per game, while the 38-year-old Conley is expected to take on a limited playing role. Celtics center Luka Garza, who previously played with Conley on the Minnesota Timberwolves, praised the veteran guard's positive presence and leadership.
