Celtic and Brighton players taken sick on international duty – Isolated from squad

Celtic's Benjamin Nygren and Brighton's Yasin Ayari have been taken ill while on international duty with Sweden. Alongside former Celtic defender Gustaf Lagerbielke, the players missed Wednesday's training session and were isolated at the team hotel due to cold symptoms, leaving them doubtful for Friday's Nations League clash against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Sweden press officer Petra Thorén confirmed the isolation was implemented to prevent illness from spreading. With only 11 outfield players available at the latest session, Sweden called up Eric Smith as cover, while Celtic and Brighton continue to monitor their players' conditions.
