Broad Street Hockey evaluated three potential center targets for the Philadelphia Flyers after the Anaheim Ducks matched their five-year, $90 million offer sheet for Leo Carlsson. General manager Danny Briere previously stated the club's priority remains acquiring a top center. The three players assessed as potential options are Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin, Columbus Blue Jackets restricted free agent Adam Fantilli, and Seattle Kraken forward Shane Wright.
Broad Street Hockey noted significant obstacles for each option, pointing out Larkin possesses a no-trade veto, while contract disputes and organizational politics complicate any move for Fantilli. Additionally, the outlet noted that while Wright could be acquired via trade, he profiles more as a middle-six forward rather than the franchise first-line center the Flyers are seeking.
