"The Disciplinary Committee has found Australian midfielder Hunter Paisami guilty of dangerous play for a contrary tackle, in breach of Law 9.13.

Wallabies center Hunter Paisami has been ruled out of the 2026 Bledisloe Cup series after receiving a suspension for a dangerous tackle. Paisami was disciplined following a 78th-minute high shot against the Springboks in Perth, resulting in an effective four-match Test ban after mitigating factors were applied by the Disciplinary Committee.
The committee initially assessed the foul play at a mid-range entry point of six matches before applying a two-game reduction due to his remorse and conduct. With Paisami sidelined and Len Ikitau carrying an injury, Australia may call upon Isaac Henry, Jordan Petaia, Filipo Daugunu, or Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii ahead of their clash with the All Blacks at Eden Park.
