ST. PETERSBURG -- How will the Rays line up their rotation for the American League Division Series behind Game 1 starter Drew Rasmussen? Stay tuned.

Tampa Bay Rays manager Kevin Cash announced that Drew Rasmussen will start Game 1 of the American League Division Series on Saturday at Tropicana Field. However, the remainder of the pitching rotation remains undecided, with matchups dependent on whether the Rays face the Yankees or the Red Sox. Cash confirmed that all five regular-season starters are expected to contribute significantly during the postseason.
Alongside Rasmussen, starters Freddy Peralta, Nick Martinez, Griffin Jax, and Ian Seymour could be utilized in rotation or bullpen roles due to scheduled off-days. Meanwhile, rehabbing relievers Tyler Wells and Garrett Cleavinger are progressing toward potential roster spots after throwing in an intrasquad scrimmage, while outfielder Chandler Simpson is tracking well to return from a foot injury.
