Major League Baseball announced its monthly award winners for September to conclude the 2026 regular season. Royals catcher Carter Jensen earned both AL Player of the Month and AL Rookie of the Month honors, while Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz took home NL Player of the Month after achieving a 30-30 season.
Tampa Bay's Freddy Peralta and Pittsburgh's Jared Jones were named Pitchers of the Month. Rockies outfielder Cole Carrigg captured NL Rookie of the Month, while Guardians closer Cade Smith and Pirates reliever Mason Montgomery took Reliever of the Month honors.
